What's New with CCHL?!

CCHL officially merged with the Hult Center for Health Education on April 5, 2011! The organization is thrilled to have this new opportunity to grow and enhance the knowledge and involvement with the community.

In case you do not know about the Hult Center for Health Education:

The Hult Center for Health Education has touched the lives of over 700,000 individuals of all ages at the Center and "on the road." The Center opened in October, 1990 and recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary. The Hult Center for Health Education is a part of the Proctor Health Care family.

The Hult Center is home to five state-of-the-art interactive learning centers, classrooms, and auditorium and has become a premier destination for school-age children and adults alike from all over the State. The Center hosts approximately 37,000 annual visitors. Learn more about the Hult by clicking here!

Uncorked!

The Uncorked! Wine, Craft Beer & Hors'd'oeuvre Tasting, Silent & Live Auction has been scheduled for Friday, October 7th at the Embassy Suites Hotel in East Peoria!

We are excited for all of our wine, craft beer & food vendors to get together again and show us their best products!

Dan Fogelberg Tribute Concert

Tickets for the August 28th Dan Fogelberg Tribute Concert, and Post-Concert Party, to be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral are now on sale. Concert tickets are $20 for Balcony tickets and $25 for Main Level tickets.

Musicians performing that night include: Tom Abbot, Robin Akins, Cherie Beever, Johnny Burnett, Barry Cloyd, Joe Couri, Chris Diepenbrock, Mark Eilers, Hugh Higgins, Rachel Higgins, Kent Higgins, Rudy Higgins, Bob Parkhurst, Jenny Parkhurst, Dave Parkinson, John Price, Jeff Steenrod, and Lee Wenger.

Tickets for the Post-Concert Party are $10 per person, and tickets are limited. There will be appetizers and two drink tickets for wine, beer, soft drinks, or water.

Fancy Schmancy Market to Benefit CCHL!

Nothin to do this Saturday?

Don't miss the Fancy Schmancy Market! It will be held on May 15th inside CCHL and the Hult Health Education Building (5215 N. Knoxville Avenue Peoria, IL) from 10am-5pm. There is no entrance fee.

There will be at least 40 local artists, craftsmen and home businesses showing and selling their unique work.

The Entertainment will also be a MUST SEE:

10am- Peoria Ballet
11 am- Mary-Ellen Urich, Local Director with Students doing pieces from Guys and Dolls, and several other local plays.
1pm- Savannah Kutak (Local Singer)
2 pm- Collin Krause at 2pm (Local 13 year old who is a mandolin and string instrument genius!)
3pm- Isle of Erin Irish Dancers
